welcome to da vinci café.

A stimulating conversation with strangers

designed to end intellectual loneliness

what is da vinci caféé

Our 90 mins facilitated conversations start with 1 SEEKER and everyone else as ORACLES.

SEEKERS share their question, idea, or just something-on-their-mind.

ORACLES listen deeply and share their perspectives, experience, ideas.

Then we rotate the SEEKER and ORACLE roles as the Café goes on.

It is a place for…

  • practicing a method of creative, associative thinking,
for the purpose of connecting dots in
    personally and collectively profound ways

  • intellectual and creative exploration in a
    welcoming and inclusive environment

  • collaborative exploration of each other's interests,
    tapping into collective wisdom and
    practicing the art of conversation

*Some themed Café's may not follow this exact format, but we will let you know ahead of time!

why we created da vinci café

01

end intellectual loneliness

Not everyone wants to talk about how to define adulthood, or think about what's needed to manage relationships, or hear what you have to say about the obscure book you've read on existentialism.

But we do :)

We want to hear your ideas, your questions, your half-baked yet fascinating thoughts. And we want to share what we've learned with you too.

02

more associative thinking

Connecting ideas = mental massage for our neuroplasticity - the practicing a method of creative, associative thinking, for the purpose of connecting dots inpersonally and collectively profound ways

03

articulate our thoughts

Thinking out loud is hard.
